Major Security Operation Planned for Superclásico

This Sunday at 16:30, La Bombonera will host a new Superclásico between Boca and River for the 15th matchday of the Clausura Tournament. The Buenos Aires City Ministry of Security will deploy a major operation this Sunday with over 1,000 personnel for the Superclásico. The match will take place at 16:30 at La Bombonera as part of the 15th matchday of the Professional League Clausura. Police will be stationed in the three perimeter rings surrounding the 'Xeneize' stadium, aiming to ensure security and prevent incidents. As is customary for major matches, fans are advised to arrive at La Bombonera early to avoid delays before the match against the 'Millonario'. During the operation, there will be checks to prevent street vending and the presence of 'trapitos', as well as security screenings to ban pyrotechnics and other prohibited items. Additionally, each stadium entrance will have exclusive access for family groups in a move to promote a more orderly and safe environment inside and outside the venue. As a new measure, the Buenos Aires City Ministry of Security announced it will also check for delinquent alimony payers among those attempting to enter the stadium. The operation will involve City Police, Traffic Agents, Public Space Inspectors, agents from the Government Control Agency (AGC), and cadets from the Higher Institute of Public Security (ISSP), who will participate in the 'Safe Stand' program, responsible for controlling individuals with admission rights. This will begin at noon, with the stadium gates set to open at 12:30, four hours before kick-off.
